About · the Bureau
A small desk that reads the record.
Exhibit Desk publishes on money laundering, crypto compliance, fraud and on-chain investigation: what happened, what the record shows, and what a monitoring desk would check.
How we work
- 01 · WatchWe follow regulators, analytics firms and investigators for new publications and posts.
- 02 · ChooseA piece starts from the record: a filing, a ledger, an alert, a service’s own statement, or a named report of one.
- 03 · MakeEvery figure is sourced and dated; what we could not check is labelled as our read or as someone’s claim.
- 04 · CheckA separate AI check, which sees only the draft and its sources, compares every factual sentence with its source; the editor reviews its findings.
- 05 · ReviewAn editor reviews each piece and gives the final yes; the editor is responsible for what we publish.
- 06 · PublishThe key sources are opened again on the publishing day; corrections can be sent through the front desk.
We work with AI assistants for research, drafting and checking, and Case File 001's cover is an AI illustration; an editor reviews every piece and is responsible for it.
Exhibit Desk is run and edited by Deniz Ergin Gündüz.
